"Overwhelmed with more to do than time to do it in, author Margaret Agard began giving her daily to-do list to God. That's when her new life began. " Margaret used her to-do list to accomplish all the demands on her time including her new marriage, two sons facing the tumultuous teen years, and exacting work. Then the church asked her to organize care for all the women, from new young mothers to grieving widows. Her unfinished tasks filled five pages of a legal-size pad. It had become a brutal taskmaster rather than a helpful tool. In desperation, she turned her to-do list over to God .
Within weeks her list was empty even though she had spent little time on it. Instead, God replaced her list with his, leading her on a journey of service that brought her into constant contact with His great love. Those daily experiences gave her unforgettable lessons in how he saw his children, and a deeper understanding of the hearts of others . Along with a few quirky adventures from mountains of manure to rattlesnakes in a bucket.
With her trademark candor, wry wit, and warmth , award-winning author Margaret Agard gives us a smart, funny and timeless memoir appealing to both skeptics and believers, alike.
"I liked the spunk and matter of fact way the author describes her daily walk with God. I liked the bits and pieces of wisdom throughout. It was a breath of fresh air from what I'm used to reading. It has little to do with productivity and everything to do with being led by the Spirit and serving others by asking God what to do every day." Goodreads reviewer
