Born from the madness of the human mind, In the Library is a collection of poetry set in an epic narrative format. We begin with Neil, the main character and teller of this tragic tale, on a nightly stroll with his wife and soulmate, Wendy. This romantic scene would soon be interrupted as fate intervenes and rapidly alters this course of happiness. Now faced with something that he cannot adequately deal with, Neil is led to a mystical place known as the Library, where he reads one by one the stories of those who have come before him. Each of these Book Characters reveals his or her story to Neil and thus he learns much about pain, coping, and the human condition before he himself reaches a resolution to his own catastrophe. As Neil too reflects on his experiences, this book also contains an analysis of the work, as presented by its author, to provide deeper insights into the narrative. Not all is revealed though, as you must impart on your own journey, and discover for yourself the meanings of the words in this legend, in your own life, and In the Library.
In this edition, the original poem that inspired this book is included, with a brief exposition by the author.
