Containing seventeen chapters, this volume critically examines Indian economic, political relations, and defence cooperation with major West European countries-France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom as well as Austria, Belgium, Greece, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, and Spain from 1947 to the present.
