The Ingenieur Automatic 35 continues IWC Schaffhausen's engineering-driven take on the Ingenieur line at a more compact 35 mm scale, tracing its design language back to the Ingenieur SL, Reference 1832, created by Gerald Genta in the 1970s. This reference pairs a stainless steel case and integrated bracelet with a dial finished in Pool, a colourway new to the collection, set against rhodium-plated hands and appliques. The bezel is secured to the case ring with five functional screws and finished in satin with a polished outer edge, while the bracelet's H-links carry the same satin-and-polish contrast through to the fully polished centre links and case back. The dial carries the collection's signature Grid pattern of fine lines and squares, with individually applied indices filled by hand with Super-LumiNova for low-light legibility. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the automatic 32111-family movement is finished with circular graining and Geneva stripes and delivers a 42-hour power reserve.
