When Jeremy rescues a young girl, Daria, from two large and unusual creatures he is drawn into a world of danger and magic. Concerned for her safety, Jeremy follows Daria deep into the woods where he discovers a hidden village. The fact that he can see the village has the occupants worried about who he is and why he's there. Biatta, the leader of the village has Jeremy's memory of them wiped, but when Jeremy finds his way back, she realizes there is something strange about him, some distant connection that may make him an ally. When the village comes under attack by beings from their home dimension, Jeremy is caught in the middle. With the villager's lives on the line, Jeremy rescues Daria and Biatta hiding them in his home. But as the danger closes in around them his daughter and grandchildren become targets. Jeremy must find a way to escape the deadly attacks and keep his family safe before they are all destroyed.
