In 1962, Jasmine Züker wants to learn if her Turkish birth father is dead or alive. She enlists genealogist Tracy Mayfield. When Tracy’s research hits a brick wall, she asks her Uncle Tex Mayfield and Chad Haines, both former intelligence agents, to accompany her to Istanbul where she hopes to discover the truth for Jasmine. Tracy learns from the FBI and CIA that Jasmine’s father is not only alive but has a sinister past, and is involved in money laundering as well as a rumored coup against the Turkish government. While in Istanbul, the Americans must protect their client from her family’s greed and revenge. To keep the promise they made to Jasmine, they must trust no one to avoid being swallowed up in the approaching turmoil.
