There are days when I do not even get out of bed until 5:00pm or 6:00pm, and I will return to bed after I eat dinner, maybe an hour or two later. When I have days like this I truly feel that my dreams are better than anything that I could be faced with in reality. When I am asleep and dreaming I have a chance to escape my own reality. I could equate it with having some kind of terrible physical pain, and knowing a way to make it go away instantly, only to know that as soon as I stop doing whatever it was I was doing to stop the pain, the pain is going to come back just as strong if not stronger. My mental state equates the pain and sleep is how I know that I can make it go away. -from Journey Through Darkness | Journey Through Darkness by Abbey Digiando, Paperback | Indigo Chapters
