Judy Garland was one of the greatest entertainers of the twentieth century. As Yip Harburg, who composed the lyrics for "Over the Rainbow," wrote in a letter to Ms. Garland, "I would consider myself fully compensated and my life work richly rewarded because of your singing of Rainbow alone.
