Lilah Fallon is continuing her search to find happiness, meaning, and most importantly, a job. When a friend mentions a seasonal position at a local farm, she jumps at the chance to try something different. Things start out well, but Lilah finds herself caught in the grip of terror when a man is murdered by someone in a mummy costume, merely a few feet from her. Consumed with guilt over having witnessed the atrocious act without doing anything to stop it, she embarks upon a quest to figure out who the killer might be, calling on friends both old and new for help. There sheer number of possible suspects is daunting, and Lilah finds herself feeling that she's been taken on a wild goose chase, until the stunning truth begins to reveal itself...but will she be too late?
