It should be clarified that this document only intends to study the scope of protection related to intellectual property and, specifically, to copyrights and new creations. It should be noted that this text provides highly relevant concepts regarding software protection, since it not only exposes the law as the main source of formal protection, but also explains how, in practice, different tools contribute to its material protection.
