Kenny and his dog, Poochy, are always looking for fun and adventure on the mountain and in the forest close to their home. But when they see a father lion, a mother lion, and a little lion coming down the mountain towards them, they are scared. Luckily, the lions are friendly. It begins to rain really hard so Kenny and Poochy invite the lions into a big cave. Other animals have already huddled there--an eagle, a fox, a coyote, and a bear. After the storm, a big rainbow appears over the mountain. At the end of every rainbow is a pot of gold. All of the animals want to find it. In the little lion's quest to find the pot of gold, he learns an important lesson.
