The design features two interlocking baseball diamonds, referencing the tradition that a 75th anniversary is known as a “diamond” anniversary – the two diamonds together represent 150 years. The patch also includes 1876, the year the Cubs became a charter member of the league. The patch will appear on player jerseys during the 2026 season.
