Non-forgiveness or bitterness will ravage your life because of rejection. Midnite was blessed with understanding and accepting parents who saved her from a life of rejection. Midnite's story will remind every person that conflict can only be ended with understanding and acceptance. It is an allegory of today's societal issues, especially those in America. She reminds everyone to accept each other regardless of their differences in opinions, social standings in life, colors, walks of life, etc. Her message of friendship and community being pivotal in a person's development is evident here.
