A book composed of letters written over seventy years ago from a mother in Amsterdam to her daughter in London, via an intermediary in Geneva, with the inclusion of copies of the official Red Cross Cards. Through this one sided correspondence we learn from the mother's letters the life and times of her family in London from the letters we do not see.
