Samatha woke up one morning to discover that a virus was making people sick all over the world, and that her school had to close for a while. At first staying home was fun, but after a while she got bored and lonely. Samantha's experience was felt by children all over the world. Coping with her anxiety by writing in a journal, talking to her friend on Skype, learning a new skill were all ways to make her feel better. Readers will learn all about the pandemic and lockdown , about the coronavirus called covid 19 , how to stay safe, and relate to the emotional side of it. The author hopes that it provides a springboard for further discussions between parents, teachers and children on their experiences and feelings.
