This book was a long time in coming. It was always in the back of my mind, but I never seemed to have the mental strength to slide it onto the front burner, so to speak. These years have been more than turbulent for me and my family and the world in general. Events have turned our own lives upside down. More for some of us than others. My and my wife's health and then my wife's death had to be dealt with. Hyper inflation has robbed our buying power and is on its way to making paupers out of many of us. It has been very difficult to find a shining star to follow. But, despite it all, we seem to have persevered.A loving daughter and Nature and writing have been my personal salvation. It was with great difficulty that I was able to set my mind up properly to start and then force myself to finish this book. I could not have done it by myself. Truly, I was an emotional basket case. Love, understanding, hugs and kisses unsparingly supplied have helped us survivors. Me especially so. But we made it and this book is the result. My grateful thanks to all who have helped me.
