A proud veteran, Bill dedicated 22 years to the U.S. Army, serving in roles ranging from Infantry Commander to Ranger School Instructor, and as a Commander of the Benning Phase of Ranger School. Despite the challenges of combat and a life-altering injury in Vietnam, he demonstrated unparalleled resilience, earning prestigious awards such as the Legion of Merit, two awards for Valor, and two Purple Hearts. Post-military, Bill transitioned to civilian life as a farmer, construction entrepreneur, and real estate broker. He also pursued higher education, obtaining a degree in Business Management from Troy State University.
