Oscar the Little Pterodactyl Who Was Afraid to Fly
High on a windy cliff, one small pterodactyl is about to learn the biggest lesson of his life.
Every morning, Oscar watches his brothers and sisters leap into the sky, laughing as they soar over rivers and mountains. He wants nothing more than to fly with them — but every time he gets close to the edge, his little heart pounds with fear. "What if I fall?"
With the gentle encouragement of his loving mother and cheering friends, Oscar discovers that bravery doesn't mean jumping without fear — it means trying again, one small step at a time. A hop. A flap. A little longer in the wind. Day by day, Oscar edges closer to the sky he's always dreamed of… until one magical morning, the breeze lifts him off the cliff, and he finally shouts the words he's waited so long to say: "I'm flying! I'm flying!"
A heartwarming story about courage, patience, and little steps — perfect for children ages 3 to 5.
Featuring soft, dreamy illustrations and a gentle rhythm perfect for bedtime, this sweet dinosaur tale reassures young readers that it's okay to be scared, and that everyone learns at their own pace. Parents and caregivers will love the calm, encouraging tone — a wonderful conversation-starter for children facing their own "first jumps," whether that's the first day of school, learning to swim, or trying something brand new.
✔ Gentle story for anxious or cautious little ones
✔ Positive, patient parenting message baked right in
✔ Beautiful full-color illustrations on every page
