Pawprints to Heaven is a testament to the love and friendship that pets give to us, unconditionally and faithfully. It is my pleasure and privilege to share these words with you, so that they may provide you with comfort and peace in your time of need. This book is dedicated to my patients, whom I have treated and loved. Through my efforts, I hope I have provided them with a better quality of life during their illnesses. For many, I hope I have given them peace in those final moments. They have taught me to love with lightheartedness and have provided such joy in my life. I am also grateful to their owners, who have graciously shared their deepest expressions of love for their pets and have provided me the wonderful opportunity to compile them in this memoir.
