Shortly after arriving back in Ninoritch, Celes and Dramom find themselves afflicted with a slow-acting but extremely deadly curse as a result of engaging the Destruction Dragon in battle, and only Shiro’s grandma putting them on ice prevents the pair from meeting their end! This is merely a short-term fix, however, meaning Shiro must set out in search of a way to lift the curse once and for all. Armed with the knowledge that only a high elf shaman is capable of this, he heads to the magic nation of Bolinoak in search of the font of knowledge on all things magical: Nesca. And as luck would have it, her mother hails from the one village that is in regular contact with the elusive high elves. After throwing an impromptu vegan banquet for the villagers to win them around, Shiro persuades their chieftain to take him where he needs to go. But the high elves are extremely hostile toward outsiders, and the peddler’s crew is no exception. Can Shiro convince them to save his friends?
