Πού πάμε; is an urban tale of post-innocence, for post-beginner-Greek learners.
This is the second entry in Greek short stories for beginners A1-A2, a series of bilingual graded readers for adult learners of Modern Greek.
Why we did a second edition:
— Additional, expanded and more detailed word-usage explanations in the glossary compilation at the end.
— Optimised formatting to improve the visual experience in both ebook and paperback.
— Minor adjustments to grammar and vocabulary for better accessibility across levels.
"A driving story in three acts. Longed-for destinations and sharp encounters, inside the uneventful belly of a scorching metropolis. A land on hiatus, and rebirth amidst collapse."
The book is divided into three parts:
Part 1: All chapters followed by a glossary of words marked marked as links in the main story. Tap to view their definition.
Part 2: Repeats the story and features an English translation after each paragraph.
Part 3: An alphabetised compilation of all glossaries, with many words accompanied by usage explanations.
For those who have read Σιγά-σιγά (the first entry in the series), this one is going to be slightly more challenging. Words already featured in Σιγά-σιγά are for the most part not included in this book’s glossaries, so if you’re unsure about your level, it is advisable that you try Σιγά-σιγά first.
Πού πάμε; is heavy on dialogue, and mainly aimed at A2 learners. Grammar is kept very simple (same as in Σιγά-σιγά: present tense / είμαι & έχω can be past tense).
This book is designed to help you keep track of who says what in a Greek dialogue, and understand how sentences are exchanged and structured in everyday language.
