The Prince of the House of David is a novel written by Reverend J. H. Ingraham. The book tells the story of a young Jewish woman named Miriam, who lives in Jerusalem during the time of Jesus Christ. Miriam is in love with a young man named Marcus, who is a Roman soldier stationed in Jerusalem. However, when Miriam learns that Marcus is responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus, she is devastated and must come to terms with her feelings for him and her faith in God. Along the way, Miriam meets several other important biblical figures, including Mary Magdalene and Joseph of Arimathea. The novel explores themes of love, faith, and forgiveness, and provides a unique perspective on the events leading up to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.1900. A collection of letters from Adina to her father, Manasseh Benjamin, while she is living and studying in Jerusalem. Interesting from a historical perspective in that the first letter is dated, according to the Jewish chronology, three years before the crucifixion of Christ. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
