Excerpt from Reports of Cases Decided in the Court of Chancery, the Prerogative Court, And, on Appeal, in the Court of Errors and Appeals, of the State of New Jersey, Vol. 13 The chancellor may, from time to time, order that an exami nation, of such extent as he may direct, be made by a master of the court into the condition and investment of all or any of such estates and finds, with a view to secure their safety and advan tageous investment; and upon the report of such examination, the chancellor shall direct the fees and allowances therefor to be paid from the estates and fimds benefited, in such manner as shall-be just.
