Wendy is a new-age witch who just had a near-fatal run-in with a deadly succubus. The hypnotic effect the demon had over Wendy nearly cost the witch her life, and her mother's, unfortunately, it did cost her aunt Endora hers. If not for the intercession of Kelsey a member of the Sect's high council, Wendy's death would have been certain. Sometime after the harrowing experience Kelsey arrived at Wendy's door to see how she had gotten along after the loss of her aunt and near-fatal attack on her and her mother. Wendy, being a witch, senses that Kelsey's actions are more than concern for her welfare but have a much more romantic slant to them. Over tea, the two women discuss the past events, and Wendy learns much more about her rescuer, a lot more. Kelsey is a seasoned succubus tracker and Wendy learns of what kinds of things Kelsey must do in her encounters with the various succubi, the sexual predators of the demon world. The more Wendy learns, the more she is torn emotionally, between her beautiful savior and that savior's ruthless sexual abilities necessary for her job. Undaunted, or maybe unaware, Kelsey presses on with her exploits, and time slips by quickly, and its way after dark, leaving both women with the decision of having Kelsey take the long return trip home, or spend the night with Wendy. The biggest decision to hash out is where will Kelsey sleep if she stays.
