Studies in Comparative Religion is considered by many to be the foremost journal of Traditionalist studies in English. It pre-dates its modern contemporaries, Sophia and Sacred Web by almost thirty year. Edited by F. Clive Ross from 1963 to 1984, every issue contained articles from some of the biggest names in comparative religion. Frithjof Schuon, Titus Burckhardt, Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Marco Pallis, Thomas Merton, and Martin Lings all regularly contributed articles. Each "Commemorative Annual Edition" of SCR recreates the original issues of the journal that were published in each respective year, including all of the articles, editorials and letters to the editor. Long out of print, these seminal works, out of reach to the general public for decades, are available once again for a new generation to discover.
