God calls us to freedom in Christ Jesus, but too many Christians remain shackled by man-made chains and fettered by doctrines introduced by people who twist God's Word. Through familiarity and tradition, some leaders or systems abuse church members with their expectations and heavy loads. I hope this book will help differentiate between church hurt and spiritual ""abuse"" in a generation that overuses and misuses the word. As we shed light on the realities of harmful spiritual abuses within the church, I pray God will use this work to help set the captive free so we believers can move forward unencumbered in our Great Commission.
