A lighter version of the award-winning zip-up swaddle that allows baby to sleep in a more natural ARMS UP™ position. The patented design promotes self-soothing by allowing baby access to their hands. When you place your baby on their back to sleep, their natural position is to raise their arms. The Love to Dream Swaddle UP Original features a patented design that allows you to swaddle your baby with their arms raised in this more natural position.
- The medical reason behind baby's desire for access to their hands is that when they wake up at night, they want to self-soothe, i.e., simply by stroking their cheeks or sucking their hands. If they're swaddled with their arms restricted, they can't do this, leading them to wake up, get frustrated, and try to wriggle out of traditional swaddles. Features:
