The final installment of the D'Artagnan Romances chronicles heroic adventures in seventeenth-century France, including the tale of "The Man in the Iron Mask." With 1844's The Three Musketeers , Alexandre Dumas introduced the world to the immortal hero D'Artagnan and the inseparable trio of king's Musketeers: Athos, Aramis, and Porthos.
