It is often the misconception that women are on cruising boats because that was what the man wanted to do. Gail was the instigator, but it didn't take much effort to convince Henry to at least give it a try. They left Canada's East Coast telling family and friends that they would probably not be home for about two years if they did not like this life. Why so long?
