EVERYONE knows that the End of Days, Armageddon, the Apocalypse, whatever you want to call it, begins in Hollywood. It is depicted in many films as a heroic effort on the part of humans who, in most instances, manage to avoid It with a simple button pressed with barely moments to spare. Why must it always be an elaborate, over-the-top event? Wouldn't it, in reality, be over in an instant? Without warning or a team of super-humans trying to obliterate an asteroid headed straight for Earth? In fact, it'll probably begin somewhere quite remote, in the ocean or the desert in Africa, or perhaps it'll start off in a quaint village in picturesque England. Wouldn't it be a more sensible solution for the light and dark side and best for everyone involved to have a nice chat over a good cup of tea? The story follows a group of teenagers through their lives in a rural village in England. Upon finding two books which seem to predict the future, two of them follow news reports which seem to go hand-in-hand with the predictions in the books. Occasionally visited by the ghost of Hilda Watermelon, Adam and Tilly grow up into their late thirties and very soon realise that the End is coming hard and fast! They live their lives as normal people and have to deal with the struggles everyone faces in everyday life, as do their old teenage friends. The forces of Heaven and Hell do deals with each other and eventually agree to bring an End to the world. But what happens when 'Fate' takes a turn that Heaven and Hell didn't expect? They have questions to answer, and some people aren't angry, but they sure are disappointed.
