Less than two years after the Snyder family's second triumphant return from Kadosh, they find themselves called back for one final journey. This time, their mission is to convince every man, woman, boy, and girl still trapped there to join them in escaping that awful place, leaving no one behind.
Unfortunately, the mission isn't the only thing that has increased in difficulty. When they arrive in Kadosh, they quickly learn that, while the daylight dawned upon their previous departure, so did winter. And it never left. The entire world is now blanketed in snow and ice, and the residents have all gone into hiding.
The Snyders must fight blizzarding weather conditions, wild animals and creatures sent by Raum, and, worst of all, the internal hazards of fear and doubt in order to accomplish their goal. They ultimately realize that this will definitely be the longest and most arduous of the three journeys.
Will Raum finally get the best of the Snyder family? Will they get trapped in Kadosh with the very people they came to save and be separated from each other forever?
One thing is for sure, whatever the result, this third trip to Kadosh will be the Snyder family's last.
