After a sudden squall leaves Samantha and Daniel Bennett adrift in the South Pacific Ocean for several days, their fractured sailboat floats into a small island cove. The Bennetts return to the United States, and Samantha visits her oncologist for a checkup on a tumor in her pancreas.
