Shay is your typical teenager about to finish her senior year of high school in Kenosha County, Wisconsin where she is getting ready to attend college next summer with her twin brother Tommy. Shay has pretty good grades, doesn't get into trouble, and she isn't the most popular girl in her school. But, then the nightmares start; she feels that someone or something is following her, and then Shay learns a dark secret about her ancestors. She undergoes drastic changes and life decisions that no normal girl should have to go through and struggles with the idea of this new supernatural life. With the help from new allies she has to determine if she will run for her life or stand and fight.
