The Patio Rudi is a student at the Faculty of Science at a university in an ex-communist country. She entered a prestigious competition of tenders at the University of British Columbia. A wheelchair boy coincidently crossed her way (at the airport in Vancouver), and she suddenly had to face whit many changes and choices in her life. ... Life is too short to sit on any patio. I don´t want to become your patio, Rudi. You gave me your heart, your legs and my dreams. .... I won´t allow you to sit on the patio." His palms pushed his wheels. He reversed, turned the wheelchair ... and left...
