From the moment star voyager Luther Woundup launches the orange baseball over the wall at Riders Field, Sacramento fans are introduced to the most intriguing mascot the game has ever seen. Luther’s ingenious, magical displays eventually generate an invitation to perform for the Sacramento Triple-A team. But like a modern-day Trojan Horse, it also enables the energetic visitor to collect cortesium in a device invented by his father, the reigning scientist on planet Spalding. Eventually, Luther learns the true purpose of his mission, pitting father against son in this Earthly adventure, which ensnares conservative broadcaster Rush Limbaugh and politician Jerry Brown.
