Friends are always there in spirit, good friends are always there. A story of friendship between five women who met at school and have had an annual reunion ever since. This is one year in their lives. The time between the two reunions sees their respective journeys unfold with tragedy and love. Not all of the five survive. Completing the quintet is another whose professional life is very successful. Her private life on the other hand, with three failed marriages, is an agony to her.
