Set in the 1950s, this is a story of Pablo and Luna, two siblings from San Juan on the island of Puerto Rico. After a tragic accident takes the lives of their parents, they are sent up into the mountains to live with their grandmother, Juana María, a curandera , a healer. Before she dies, she passes on the secrets of the mountain, and even though it's not what they want, they have to continue her legacy. The Song of the Mountain is a tale of resilience and transformation, where the boundaries between human and spirit become blurred. Pablo and Luna face their greatest challenge when men and machines decide to mine the mountain for rare crystals. As the intruders are about to find out, the mountain is not only prepared to, it knows how to safeguard its territory using brutal methods and raw power.
