This collection is a departure from the traditional poetry I had written, but it is something I had always wanted to do with free associations and abundant cultural references and imagery. One of my regrets is that I should have been more humorous, which is a deficiency that I address here. Life is the confluence of thousands of things that may not make logical sense except in retrospect and from a distance. About the Author James R.
