This is the story of Toab and his best friend, Doc, who are heading west and decide to tag along with a wagon train. They meet two young women who are sisters and begin a relationship. As they travel, they have a run-in with a gang of cutthroat outlaws, which starts a chain of events that becomes a race of time to save the women they love. On their way, they make new friends and find old friends willing to help them on their journey. After several attempts on the life of Toab, we find others involved who want him dead also. This is truly a trail of fire! M. T. Deason is originally from Oxford, AL. He grew up watching and loving westerns on television and movies. He began to read and loved the stories that took him away to the old West and the life they lived. While working, he had told a coworker about how he would make up stories at night to help him fall asleep; the coworker told him he needed to write those stories down. He laughed at that thought but eventually did so, and this is one of those stories that he hopes you will enjoy.
