This material is a vegan alternative to leather. Made of 100% organic cotton canvas, coated with a P.U.-based coating, corn starch and castor oil (54% bio-sourced). This coated polyester canvas is used as a substitute for our vegan suede when the latter runs the risk of rubbing off, in particular for a few very rare details in bright colors on our vegan models. Less ecological, we use it sparingly on our sneakers. About the brand Since 2005, VEJA has been creating sneakers in a different way, mixing social projects, economic justice, and ecological materials.
