In 1992, Carole Tanney became director of Project Reach Out , organizing fundraisers and conducting ministry tours to serve in Ghana, Africa. Her aim was to provide humanitarian help to the vulnerable people in Ghana and beyond, in support of the evangelization and church planting work of the Christian Standard Ministries, (The Wesleyan Church, Ghana). Carole has demonstrated a lifetime of service that abounds with energetic service to her Lord Jesus Christ and His Church. Her story will inspire and challenge you to greater service and love for Jesus! As the daughter of a preacher and missionary, Carole approached her role with passion and the importance that it deserved. In 1993, after only a year of taking office, Carole undertook her maiden visit to Ghana to acquaint herself with projects to get to know the people and the country of Ghana. This was to be the beginning of about twenty trips to Ghana (so far) made by Carole. Carole is very passionate about getting help to those in need, and brought dynamism and much-needed leadership to an otherwise floundering organization. On her visits, Carole always carried a journal and therefore kept records of her experiences. This book is the fruit of that journal, detailing her twenty-six years (and counting) of work and travels in Ghana.
