Worrying will not change whatever it is that you are worrying about. In fact it will probably make it worse as your anxiety will escalate. Anxiety is what is actually happening when you feel worried. Worry is just the common name for that particular feeling.
Action can help to reduce anxiety. Is there something you can do to change what is distressing you? When there is no physical action you can take you can always use forgiveness of yourself and others and 'let it go' as the saying goes. Not so easy to do, I know.
You can also go to your doctor for medication if the anxiety has gotten out of hand. There is no shame in asking for help.
