The album marked a new creative approach for Daft Punk, recorded over several years with analogue equipment instead of digital, and for the first time collaborating with such big names as Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, Giorgio Moroder, Todd Edwards and Paul Williams. Daft Punk, the Parisian duo formed by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, are behind some of the most popular dance and pop songs in history. They officially ended their career on February 22, 2021, breaking the news with an 8-minute video entitled "Epilogue."
