Over and over again, God has put His faithfulness on display in our everyday circumstances of family life. Lucy Comes Home was written to capture one of those times when we all stood back in amazement of what God did God put it in my heart to write this book because I want my grandchildren and yours to hear of the great things God has done. \"One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty\" (Psalm 145:4-5). Lucy Comes Home is a reminder that God cares about the little details of our lives. It is a reminder of the power of prayer. It is a reminder of the power of God that sustained our little \"prodigal puppy\" (who is ever so prone to wander) for eight days-four of which were in the midst of a tropical storm. My prayer is that it will encourage rich conversation about the things we enjoy, the things we fear, the blessing of boundaries, consequences, prayer, and faith.
