This is an account of the Lord God calling me into the ministry, preparing me, and sending me to the Philippine Islands as a missionary. While I was preparing to go, He told me not to become associated with any other ministry. That meant I would be totally on my own. After that, He told me not to raise any financial support, but to trust Him, and He would supply all of my needs. Because I was not associated with anyone else, I had to go to the Philippines on a tourist visa and could, therefore, not do anything there to support myself or my ministry. Because of these restrictions, I was totally dependent on the Lord for everything. When He showed me that He had sent out the twelve apostles in the same way, I was very encouraged.
