This study describes the evolution of the Bahrain political system, and analyzes its different levels and how they work in concert to respond to critical issues and crises and guide Bahrain's foreign policy. This study proposes following hypothesis: Bahrain's current government and political system can provide the proportionate response to future internal or external crises and effectively manage international pressures, leading to an increased capacity of the Bahrain political system to generate tenable solutions for the long term protection of its people and interests.
