Ancestors of the Moore/Walser families have lived in the Ann Arbor area continuously since the Civil War era. In addition, members of the Riggs family have been part of the University of Michigan in one way or another since our Grandfather, Henry Earle Riggs, founded the Department of Civil Engineering in 1910.
