As with his earlier ballet Swan Lake, Tchaikovsky contemplated the creation of a concert suite taken from the enormous ballet score for Sleeping Beauty. Op.66 but never realized the project. The five-movement suite was most likely arranged by Alexander Siloti and first published by Jurgenson in 1899. This newly engraved edition is a licensed reissue of the 2011 large conductor's score published by E. F. Kalmus - in an inexpensive, convenient format.
