The Artwork of Shea Justice: Volume 1 is a compilation of twenty years of his work. It covers a variety of media that includes watercolor, drawing and collage. The book also is a celebration of important figures in African American History of which there are many portraits shown. Next to some of the illustrations there is information on some individuals that the readers may not be familiar with, including names, dates and their contributions to society. In addition to the portraits there are collaged images that deal with the political as well as the social impact black people have had on the American landscape.
