The author was stationed in Newfoundland over forty years ago and has made several visits to Canada since. The following are \"trip reports\" on some of these trips. Also included is his uncle's diary on going to the Klondike. Total Tripping: Canada is just one of the collections that spans the years 1979-2006 and consists of Carl Lahser's travel diaries, short stories, and poetry collections. The collection is arranged into two series: \"Publications\" and \"Photographs and Notes.\" The \"Publications\" series is arranged into three subseries: travel, poetry, and other topics. The travel subseries consists of descriptions of his trips with his wife, Carol Lahser, to Canada, China, Europe, Mexico, the United States, and Panama and one early trip to Hong Kong in 1979. However, most of the travel took place between 1990 and 2006. Topics in this series range from ecology to flying to health.
